fmrl.site is operated by Too Great LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company.

Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and Too Great LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, which operates fmrl.site. Using the site means you accept them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use fmrl.site.

What the service does

You paste a page and we give you a link to it. A free link lasts 7 days, after which the page and its bytes are deleted.

A keep is a one-time purchase that stops a page from expiring. We retain the page and its revision history in Google Cloud storage. A Keep does not make a public page private. Private pages remain encrypted by your browser or agent; we do not receive their content keys.

Keeps delivered through IPFS publish an encrypted snapshot through Pinata. Keeps delivered through storage alone do not publish an IPFS snapshot. An IPFS snapshot is separate from the current page and may show an older revision.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you paste. You give us permission to host, cache, transmit, pin, and display it in the sandboxed viewer, for as long as the page exists, so that we can run the service.

You promise you have the right to share what you paste.

Acceptable use

Our acceptable use policy is part of these terms. Breaking it is breaking these terms.

Keeps and payment

Purchases are completed through Stripe Checkout. For card payments Stripe's Link service is the merchant of record, sends your receipt, and collects any applicable sales tax. Your card statement will read LINK.COM* FMRL.SITE.

A USDC purchase is a Stripe crypto session in which Too Great LLC is the seller. Prices are in USD.

Refunds

Our refund policy explains when a keep is refunded and when it is not. It is part of these terms.

Removing content

We may remove or quarantine any page that breaks the acceptable use policy, and we may do it without notice. Once a page has been pinned we cannot delete a copy somebody else already fetched — nobody can, on IPFS — so what we do instead is unpin it, destroy its encryption key, and report it to the IPFS bad-bits list. Copies may persist on the network; without the key they cannot be read by anyone, ourselves included.

You can remove a page you own at any time, from its menu in a browser that holds the identity it belongs to or is signed in to that identity's account, or with the API key that published it; a recovery link never removes a page. Removing a kept page deletes its stored content; the fee is not refunded. Any IPFS snapshot is handled under the removal policy above. Keep your own copy of anything you want to keep: once the key is gone the page cannot be recovered, by us or by you.

Copyright

Send copyright notices to dmca@fmrl.site or through the notice form. Include: what work is being infringed, the fmrl.site URL of the page, how to reach you, a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your signature — typing your name counts.

If we remove a page on a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@fmrl.site with the fmrl.site URL of the page, your name, address and phone number, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the page was removed by mistake or misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, for the Western District of Pennsylvania), a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent, and your signature. We forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us first that they have filed a court action to stop you infringing with that page, or a Copyright Claims Board claim over it, we restore the page not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after we receive a valid counter-notice.

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of repeat infringers: a person whose pages have been the subject of repeated valid notices loses the ability to share pages here.

NO WARRANTY

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY PAGE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOO GREAT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Too Great LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the content you share or from your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and using the site afterwards means you accept the new version.
